You often hear people say: Crystals have energy<\/em>. But what exactly does that mean?
The crystal structure contains atoms that all vibrate at a unique frequency. This vibration, also known as frequency, is what leads to crystals being attributed with energetic or healing properties.
People also have an energy field, better known as the aura. A healthy human body vibrates at an average frequency of between 62 and 78 MHz. Stress, negative thoughts and illness can lower this frequency.
Diet also has an influence. For example, processed or tinned food has a vibration of 0 Hz, whilst fresh food has a vibration of up to around 15 Hz. <\/p>\n\n\n\nHow do crystals affect our bodies and energy?<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are rough and polished (tumbled) crystals. Rough crystals have a powerful aura and are often lovely to display in the home. Tumbled stones have a gentler energy and are therefore ideal for carrying with you. The effect remains the same; it is simply the experience that differs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How do you choose a crystal?<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
You can choose a crystal based on a theme, such as love, protection or tranquillity. You might also be drawn to a crystal because of its description or the information about it. Or you could seek advice in a lovely shop where they stock beautiful crystals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Often, a stone draws you in of its own accord, as if the crystal is choosing you. Do you walk into a shop and immediately feel a connection with a stone? If so, there\u2019s a good chance that it has something to offer you right now. Trust that feeling. Often, the meaning of the crystal resonates exactly with what you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can also use a pendulum to sense which crystal suits you. Ask clear questions and see what the pendulum indicates. Don\u2019t have a pendulum? Your body can do the same thing. Hold a crystal against your solar plexus, ask a question and feel whether your body moves forwards (yes) or backwards (no).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many crystals are used to make beautiful jewellery such as bracelets, pendants and rings. That way, you can carry your favourite stone with you every day \u2013 and it looks stunning too!<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhich crystals are suitable for the home?<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Crystals can have a positive effect on the energy in your home. The size of the stone determines its energetic range. For example, if a stone is 5 cm, you subtract 1 cm from that; what remains \u2013 in this case, 4 cm \u2013 is the circumference in metres of the range from the crystal. Create a peaceful space using incense or essential oils and crystals. Or create a lovely meditation altar where you can find peace, using crystals and other energy-boosting items.
