A wonderful way to harness the power of essential oils is through a bath or foot bath. The healing properties of the oil are absorbed through the soles of your feet and your skin, allowing them to enter your system quickly. A lovely bath with essential oil<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve never had a bath in my whole life, but now I do! And I absolutely love it \u2013 a lovely warm bath with an essential oil of my choice. It\u2019s so relaxing with a lovely scent; I\u2019d love to have a bath every day. Especially in winter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I enjoy making my own bath scent before I get into the bath. It just depends on what I\u2019m in the mood for \u2013 a bit of relaxation, or perhaps a more invigorating and cheerful scent. Do you find this a bit tricky to do yourself? No worries! We have lovely ready-to-use bath oils in a range of themes. Fancy having a go with single essential oils? Then you\u2019ll need a bit more than just a lovely scent. Oil naturally floats on water, so you\u2019ll need an emulsifier. Further on, you can read how to prepare a bath and what you\u2019ll need to do so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as its lovely scent, the oil naturally has a wonderful energising effect. That\u2019s why it\u2019s so handy that we have such a wide choice of essential oil blends \u2013 there\u2019s always something to suit you to help you recharge in your bath \ud83d\ude0a. And as you relax and the oil\u2019s frequency spreads throughout the bath, you\u2019ll soon notice how revitalised you feel! No bath? Then use the ingredients to make a lovely warm foot bath. This is also wonderfully relaxing and ensures that the healing properties of the oils are quickly absorbed into your system<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to prepare an energising bath<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a good idea to prepare all the ingredients for your lovely, energising bath in a small bowl. That way, everything can mix together and the scent of the essential oil is released beautifully! You use the salt for energetic cleansing, and it also acts as an emulsifier for your oil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you\u2019ll need:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udec1 Small bowl<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udec1 Epsom salt<\/a> or Himalayan salt<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udec1 Base oil such as Almond oil<\/a> or the ready-made Basic Bath Oil<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udec1 Essential oil of your choice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udec1 Crystals to give your bath an extra boost<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the small bowl, mix 3 generous tablespoons of your chosen salt with a generous splash of (bath) oil and 10 to 15 drops of your chosen essential oil. Mix this together and only add it to your bath once you\u2019re in it. This allows the scent of the oil to be released, so you can fully enjoy your chosen fragrance. You could also add crystals to your bathwater if you like. Crystals also give your bathwater an extra energetic boost. This is because crystals have a lovely frequency that they happily impart to your water. If you\u2019d like to know more about this, you can read about it in our special blog<\/a>. Personally, I always go for the Golden Triangle<\/a> as it wonderfully restores harmony. For a foot bath, use 3\u20135 drops of essential oil and 2 tablespoons of salt with a dash of carrier oil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ready-to-use bath oil<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t fancy mixing it yourself? Then make use of the ready-to-use bath oil<\/a> for your bath and shower rituals. A themed fragrance has already been added to this, so you\u2019ll always have the right balance. Be sure to use the salt as an emulsifier and energising cleanser too. Prepare your bowl with the salt and add a generous splash of the bath oil. Settle into your warm bath and pour the contents of your bowl into the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shower Mist<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn your bathroom into a fragrant space! Enjoy the feeling of a day at the sauna in your own bathroom!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the spray whilst you\u2019re having a hot shower. The steam from the shower really brings out the scent of the spray. Lovely! You can also spray it inside the shower cubicle whilst you\u2019re in the shower yourself. This gives you a wonderful scent experience. And you don\u2019t need a bath! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
