Drawing on her extensive experience with organic products through her company \u2013 Pure and Organic \u2013 the idea to launch Kakaw Spirit was born. However, Anouk, who had attended several ceremonies, often came up against a stumbling block: the pure raw cacao nibs often felt heavy on the stomach and lacked the desired flavour, being bitter and sour. This means that our cocoa powder NOT <\/strong>It has been alkalised; we have kept it as pure as possible. So what exactly is alkalisation? Alkalisation is a treatment When you start your cocoa moment and begin to connect with your heart, it\u2019s good to know that cocoa naturally contains some wonderful compounds that can help with this. Such as tryptophan, an amino acid involved in the production of serotonin, the \u201chappiness hormone\u201d.
