This time, a special story from Friesland!<\/em>
Alberta is the director of an assisted living scheme, where staff work every day to create a safe, stable and homely environment for people who are unable to live entirely independently. This scheme provides loving and practical support to residents with a wide range of care needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes this project particularly special is the use of scent frequencies as an additional support in the day-to-day care process. The essential oils are used at various times, both in one-to-one sessions and in group settings, to promote calm, balance and positive energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alberta shares her personal experiences of working with these scent frequencies in practice. She explains how certain scents help to create a calmer atmosphere within the group, how residents respond to their favourite sprays, and how the use of scent has proved to be a valuable addition to standard care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ik ben Alberta en directrice van op dit moment drie begeleid-wonenprojecten. De woningen zijn voor mensen met ASS (autisme spectrum) vanaf 18 jaar.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through an energy therapist with whom we work closely, we were introduced to the products from De Groene Linde. At the moment, we mainly use aura sprays. This is how we set the Clean Energy<\/a> in rooms where difficult conversations have taken place.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a resident is struggling with certain thought patterns that are not based on facts and which are hindering their ability to function, we use the spray Letting go<\/a> by. By using these, they can restore a sense of calm and clarity.
Dit is dan ook echt een van mijn favorieten om in te zetten, het heeft zo’n goed effect bij onze doelgroep!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sleep soundly with the scents of De Groene Linde<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The The \u2018Sleep Well\u2019 range<\/a> gebruiken we bij het avondritueel en geeft veel rust voordat de bewoners naar bed gaan. Hierin merken we veel verschil ten opzichte van v\u00f3\u00f3r het gebruik van de sprays; het was dan wat onrustig. Nu we dit iedere avond inzetten, hebben we een soort van ‘ankertje’ gebouwd waardoor de geuren vertrouwd zijn en de bewoners in de ontspanningsstand kunnen.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also make use of the Protection spray<\/a> of the HSP range<\/a>. This is used when residents have to do something they don\u2019t particularly like.
All in all, we use a lot of the range! And we\u2019re very positive about it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To round off, I\u2019d like to share another experience with you to show what effect essential oils can have on a person.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

”Een van onze bewoners, van wie de moeder in het ziekenhuis belandde, was natuurlijk in alle staten en wilde maar \u00e9\u00e9n ding, en dat was bij zijn moeder in het ziekenhuis zijn.
Unfortunately, that wasn\u2019t feasible at the time, so we had to Worry-free<\/a> ingezet voor het slapengaan. De bewoner heeft maar liefst 13 uur (!!) geslapen. Hij vond het fantastisch en gaf aan dat de ‘toverspray’ deed denken aan de geur van het ziekenhuis, en dat hij zich daardoor toch een beetje in gedachten bij zijn moeder voelde.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
