As a care worker, you may already be familiar with the care team at De Groene Linde, but perhaps not. That is why we would like to tell you more about this special team within the wider team. The care team consists of staff members at De Groene Linde who, alongside their work here, are also currently working in the care sector or have previously worked in it. It\u2019s great to have a team like this, as we\u2019re deeply committed to care. We also believe it\u2019s important that the care sector is properly informed by people who understand both fields. But who are the people behind the care team, and what exactly do they do? What can you expect from the team, and how can you get their help? You can read all about it in this blog!<\/p>

The care team<\/h2>

Our care team consists of Chiara, Fanny and Judith. They would like to introduce themselves to you.<\/p>

My name is Chiara; I was born in 1992 and have been working at De Groene Linde since 2023. In 2015, I completed my studies in Social Care and Specific Target Groups. Over the years, I have gained experience working with various target groups, including those in psychiatric care, young people with challenging behaviour and elderly care. Ultimately, my heart lay with care for people with disabilities, where I worked for over seven years at a day centre. This centre catered for people with conditions including acquired brain injury, autism, and intellectual and physical disabilities.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

After a wonderful spell, it was time for a new challenge, which I found at De Groene Linde. An interesting detail: I\u2019d already been coaching the owners\u2019 son, so this move felt like a real win-win situation for me \ud83d\ude09
To be honest, I didn\u2019t know much about aromatherapy, essential oils and crystals beforehand. But I\u2019m now convinced of their power. I\u2019ve experienced first-hand how scent and atmosphere can influence behaviour and relaxation, for example within groups exhibiting misunderstood behaviour.<\/p>

To me, it\u2019s clear: the atmosphere you create as a care worker makes a big difference. With small changes, such as a diffuser and soothing music, you can already help to promote greater relaxation and balance.<\/p>

Hi! My name is Fanny Tates, and I\u2019ve been happily working at De Groene Linde for a number of years now. Before that, I worked as a nurse in elderly care. Thanks to my studies, I\u2019ve been able to gain an insight into many areas of healthcare. For example, I\u2019ve completed several placements in psychiatry and also in hospital settings. Elderly care is where my heart lies! <\/p>\n\n

When I found out I was expecting my daughter, I decided to take a step back (for now) from my job in the healthcare sector. And to carry on with my work at De Groene Linde. Being part of the care team means I still feel involved and can share my knowledge and expertise in this way! How lovely is that! <\/p>\n\n

My name is Judith Bos and I joined this wonderful company in December. <\/p>\n\n

I\u2019ve loved scents all my life; sometimes they can take you back to that lovely place from the past, or make you feel happy, calm and relaxed. <\/p>\n\n

My greatest dream is that everyone who, at some point in their life, finds themselves overwhelmed by fears, worries and insomnia, will be able to experience the benefits of essential oils. By needing less medication, but instead using an oil or the power of a gemstone to help you get through your journey.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

As well as working at De Groene Linde, I work as a nurse at various locations, including in hospice care. I also provide Dansage treatments, in which I blend massage, music and movement to create a unique experience. I have completed my training as a complementary nurse, which makes this a wonderful addition to my work, and I am very happy to be able to play my part in the care team.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

What the care team can do for you<\/h2>

Of course, you can contact the care team directly with any care-related queries. So if you have a client you\u2019d like to offer support to, you can always give us a call for advice or send an email<\/a>. But this isn\u2019t the only thing the care team does. Are you enthusiastic about the products, but finding it difficult to get your colleagues on board? The team would be happy to visit you \u2013 either in person or via a Teams meeting \u2013 to provide more information on how to use the products. Don\u2019t forget to sign up for the special care newsletter either. Every month, we share useful information and interesting news from De Groene Linde. <\/p>
