Swiss stone pine is a lovely oil to use around the home. It has a warm, woody and sweet scent. The Swiss stone pine has a sweeter scent than the well-known Scots pine. Swiss stone pine is a lovely oil to have in the home, but what exactly can you use it for? And how can you make the most of this essential oil?<\/p>

What can you use Arve Den for?<\/em><\/h2>

As well as its lovely scent, Swiss stone pine can actually be used to treat a wide range of ailments! It\u2019s a real \u2018all-rounder\u2019 amongst essential oils. <\/p>

Use Swiss Stone Pine essential oil during the flu season. The scent has a strong antiseptic effect, which helps to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. This is due to the chemical compounds in this oil; it is mainly the light molecules that disperse rapidly throughout the room and are responsible for this effect. Oils from the pine needle family rid the air of fungal spores. They also boost your immune system and are excellent for treating respiratory conditions. Swiss stone pine is particularly effective for coughs, bronchitis and colds. <\/p>

Inhalation and topical application<\/em><\/h3>

By the essential oil<\/a> When inhaled, it can really provide relief from flu and colds. Make a mixture with a base oil<\/a> and a few drops Arve Den<\/a>. Put 2\u20133 drops of it in the palm of your hand and rub your hands together to warm them up. Cup your hands around your nose and breathe in deeply. Do you have a really bad cold? If so, add 1 drop of eucalyptus to your hands for some extra relief.<\/p>

Make a mixture of a base oil with a few drops of Swiss stone pine, eucalyptus and lemon, and rub this onto the chest and back, over the lungs, to relieve a persistent cough. <\/p>

Do you suffer from rheumatic pain? Make a massage oil with Swiss stone pine, eucalyptus and a little Lavender<\/a> Apply essential oil to the painful areas. Repeat this twice a day to relieve the pain, or apply a little extra when the pain becomes too much. It\u2019s a good idea to warm the oil slightly before the massage. Place the cotton pad next to your pillow. There are also special fragrance necklaces you can use to carry the oil with you all day in a handy and attractive way.<\/p>\n\n

Do you have moths in your wardrobe? Place a cotton ball with a few drops of Swiss stone pine in the wardrobe. Moths don\u2019t like the smell of Swiss stone pine.<\/p><\/div>\n\n

In the bath or a foot bath<\/em><\/h3>

A great way to use the oil is to have a lovely, relaxing bath. But not everyone has a bath! In that case, a foot bath can also be very relaxing and uplifting! Do always use an emulsifier to help the oil mix with the water. Otherwise, the oil will sit on top of the water like a thin film. Use a splash of base oil and a generous spoonful Epsom-<\/a> or Himalayan salt<\/a>. Add about 10 drops of essential oil to the bath and give the water a good stir. For a foot bath, use the base oil, 2 tablespoons of salt and 4 drops of essential oil. Lie back comfortably in the bath or sit with your feet in the warm water and take a moment just for yourself. <\/p>
