Aniseed essential oil is a warm, sweet-spicy oil with a distinctive character that is both invigorating and inviting. This oil is extracted from the seeds of Pimpinella anisum, a plant native to the Mediterranean region and Western Asia. Its aroma is sweet, slightly spicy and aniseed-like, and evokes a sense of comfort and focus.

The aniseed plant thrives best in well-drained, sunny soil, where it can fully develop its aromatic qualities. Depending on the climate and the harvest, the aroma and intensity may vary slightly, but the basic profile always remains warm, sweet and full of character.

The oil is extracted from the seeds by steam distillation and consists mainly of anethole, the compound responsible for the distinctive aniseed scent and the invigorating, uplifting sensation associated with this essential oil.

View of humanity

The aniseed type feels as though they are on their own and does not feel secure in life.
