Description

Star anise essential oil has a warm, sweet and spicy scent with an aniseed-like note. The oil is extracted from the ripe fruits of the Illicium verum, a tree that grows naturally in South-East Asia, particularly in China and Vietnam.

The scent awakens the senses and brings a feeling of warmth, clarity and joy. The aroma is invigorating, gently uplifting and clarifying. This instantly energises a room. The fruits have been carefully dried and processed using steam distillation to preserve the soft, spicy and complex scent.

Star anise feels like a warm, inspiring breeze that stimulates creativity and mental alertness. It encourages you to explore new ideas and let go of old energy.

Star anise oil and green anise are still often confused with one another. Star anise is a dried fruit that is subsequently distilled. Green anise is a plant of the umbellifer family, the seeds of which are used. They have the same effect, but the scent is certainly different.

View of humanity

The Anise type feels as though they are on their own and does not feel secure in life. A sense of basic security was not properly established during their childhood, and as a result they lack confidence in life. They create a false sense of security by carefully assessing, planning and controlling everything in advance. This provides a sense of stability and (false) security.

Mental

Anise offers you protection and comfort as you process and let go of pent-up, limiting emotions. Aniseed can be used to heal the inner child. It connects you to the warmth and security of the womb, and from this foundation you can heal and comfort your wounded inner self.

Do you ever find yourself longing for those days when you were a child and life was carefree? The scent of aniseed takes you back to that time, allowing you to lose yourself in that carefree feeling.

Spiritual

Aniseed can help you combat nightmares. Put a few drops of aniseed oil on a cotton pad and place it under your pillow. Now go to sleep with the intention of having a peaceful night’s sleep without any scary dreams.

Aniseed helps to protect your energy system from negative external energies.
