Vetiver essential oil has a deep, earthy and smoky scent that promotes a sense of grounding and stability. The oil is extracted from the roots of the Vetiveria zizanoides, a type of grass that grows in tropical regions such as India, Haiti and Indonesia.

The aroma is rich, warm and complex, and feels like a solid foundation that grounds the body and mind. Vetiver encourages introspection, concentration and letting go of the hustle and bustle. Steam distillation of the roots fully captures both its grounding and calming properties.

The Vetiver type is someone who lacks a firm sense of grounding and, as a result, finds life a heavy burden. They find it difficult to tap into their drive and see the projects they wish to work on through to a successful conclusion. This is because their emotions and feelings of not being good enough keep resurfacing. People of this type need to learn to ground themselves properly and find their centre. This creates a sense of security and strength that enables them to cope with life with ease.

Vetiver is an oil that provides strength and self-confidence at times when the situation is tense and stressful; it grounds you and helps you stay centred. If you are physically and mentally exhausted, vetiver oil has a relaxing effect and provides inner strength. If you find yourself daydreaming too much and your thoughts are wandering all over the place, vetiver grounds you. You can then engage with life again and regain confidence in your own abilities.

Vetiver is the perfect oil if you want to connect with Mother Earth, nature spirits and fairies. It has a strong affinity with everything that happens in nature. It helps you ground yourself during spiritual sessions; even a small amount is enough. Vetiver oil helps you find the answers you need at the very heart of Mother Earth.

Affirmatie: “Alles is goed, ik ben kalm, ontspannen en innerlijk stil”

Bergamot, Geranium, Jasmine, Cardamom, Lavender, Patchouli, Watercress, Orange, Ylang Ylang

Basic

Tree agate, Moss agate, Haematite, Tiger iron, Sodalite, Fuchsite

Vape in moderation during pregnancy.
