Myrrh essential oil is extracted from the resin of the Commiphora myrrha, a shrub that grows in dry, sunny regions of North Africa and the Middle East. The resin is carefully harvested and then processed by steam distillation to produce a rich, aromatic oil.

The scent is warm, spicy and slightly mystical, and immediately evokes a sense of calm, stability and depth. Myrrh encourages stillness and helps to turn one’s attention inwards, creating space for reflection and self-awareness.

The myrrh type often carries old emotions or experiences with them and can therefore become stuck in the past. This makes it difficult to bring the energy field into balance and to move forward.

The process involves learning to let go, to ground oneself and to create space once more. By gradually releasing tension and emotional baggage, the myrrh type can reconnect with inner peace and strength.

Myrrh essential oil helps to calm the flow of thoughts and distance oneself from inner turmoil. When you keep thinking and analysing, clarity rarely emerges. Only when the mind comes to rest does insight arise.

This oil helps you to ground yourself, gain a sense of perspective and recognise what really matters. From that place of calm, choices and solutions can emerge naturally.

Myrrh has a deeply grounding and unifying effect. The oil helps you to stay connected to both the earth and a higher consciousness, allowing you to be firmly grounded whilst remaining open.

During meditation or rituals, myrrh helps one to gain insights and experience inner peace. It is often used in spiritual practise, as it offers protection and clarity.

In addition, Mirre can support inner child work, as the oil creates a sense of security and comfort.

Affirmatie: “Ik voel me verbonden met Moeder aarde en de kosmos”

Myrrh essential oil helps maintain healthy skin and keeps it clean and well-cared-for. In addition, the oil supports the immune system and has a positive effect on the body’s natural defences.

Usage:

Incense, Sandelwood West and east, Geranium, Rosewood, Lavender

Base, Crown

Ammonite, Black Tourmaline, Green Calcite, Rock crystal, Smoky quartz

Do not use during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.
