Description

Clary sage essential oil has a warm, herbaceous and slightly sweet scent that promotes relaxation and balance. The oil is extracted from the flowering tops of the Clary sage, a plant that grows in sunny areas around the Mediterranean.

The aroma is gently spicy with a subtle floral undertone and has a deeply relaxing effect without feeling heavy. The plants absorb sunlight and heat, which is reflected in the harmonising and enveloping effect of the oil. After harvesting, the flowering buds are steam-distilled, preserving their gentle yet potent properties.
