Amber is also known as ‘Barnsteen’. Barnsteen is a beautiful, warm stone with a gentle and grounding energy. What makes it special is that it is not a mineral, but fossilised tree resin. Often millions of years old! This gives amber a unique vibration that has both a protective and uplifting effect.

General operation

Amber is a sunny, warm stone that helps you to feel lightness and vitality again, especially when you’re feeling weighed down or tired. Its energy is gentle, loving and yet powerful, as if it were inviting you with open arms to let go of tension and live life to the full once more.

Amber is special because it isn’t actually a stone, but fossilised resin from ancient trees. It carries within it the energy of both the earth and the sun. You can feel it: its vibration is warming, comforting and full of joie de vivre. Amber helps you to let go of negative energy and reconnect with your natural zest for life.

This stone has a powerful purifying effect on the emotional body. It absorbs heavy or stagnant energy, such as fear, sadness or anger, and transforms it into warmth and light. This makes amber particularly suitable for people who suffer from low mood, stress or overstimulation. It helps you to relax, ground yourself and return to living in the here and now.

Amber also has protective properties. For centuries, it has been used as a talisman for children, mothers, travellers and sensitive people. Its gentle power acts as an energetic shield that protects you from external influences, without you having to shut yourself off from the world.

On a spiritual level, amber opens the connection between the heart, the solar plexus chakra and the earth. It helps you to face life with confidence, to feel your own strength, and to make choices from a place of calm rather than fear. At the same time, it makes you more grateful for the little things. It is like a ray of sunshine, a touch, a smile.

Finally, amber is also a wonderful stone for healing the inner child. Its gentle, warm vibration reminds you that you don’t have to carry everything on your own. That you’re allowed to play, feel and enjoy yourself. And that life can be light-hearted.

Care

It is best not to clean amber with water. Read here For more information on cleaning and charging.
