Green Moonstone with Garnierite owes its name to the French geologist Jules Garnier. This rare combination of Garnierite and Moonstone makes the stone particularly magical and powerful. Green Moonstone is mainly found in Madagascar, India and Sri Lanka. Its soft green colour with a moon-like sheen radiates both tranquillity and healing energy.

General operation

This stone combines the intuitive energy of moonstone with the healing green of garnierite. In this way, it works deeply on the heart, supports your emotions and strengthens your spiritual connection with everything around you. Green moonstone helps you to experience a sense of oneness. You come to realise that everything is interconnected and that love and light are present everywhere, both within yourself and in the world around you. At the same time, the stone reminds you of your own worth and invites you to embrace the abundance of life.

A green moonstone amulet also helps you to set clear intentions. It amplifies what you desire at a soul level and helps you to radiate this lovingly and clearly. This makes the stone ideal for placing on your altar, using during meditation, or incorporating into wish rituals. It draws your intentions towards you, as it were, in a gentle yet powerful way.

Green Moonstone is a valuable aid to personal development. It helps you reconnect with your own qualities and characteristics, and to see the beauty and strength in others. The stone opens the heart chakra and has a calming effect in times of stress, overstimulation or emotional turmoil. You’ll feel lighter, more relaxed and happier when you carry it with you.

For women, the Green Moonstone amulet has a particularly loving effect. It supports feminine energy, balances hormones and emotions, and is particularly suitable for use during pregnancy. The stone helps you to form a loving bond with your baby and brings peace and confidence during this special time.

Care

Moonstone is a brittle stone, so it is delicate and can easily get scratched. It is best to avoid direct sunlight and water. Read here more information on cleaning and charging.
