Cut rutile quartz 1

Rutile quartz is, in fact, rock crystal with inclusions of rutile, a mineral that is usually gold-coloured, but can also be silver, copper-red or black. The combination of that clear base with those sparkling needles makes rutile quartz a truly magical sight. This stone is found in Brazil, Madagascar, India, Australia and the USA, amongst other places.

Rutile quartz is one of those stones you simply can’t ignore once you’ve seen it. A clear quartz full of golden needles, as if the sun itself had lent a hand in its creation. Those dazzling ‘threads‘ are rutile inclusions, and they give this stone its unique appearance and spiritual power. For many people, rutile quartz feels like an energetic boost, a crystal that literally brings light into your system. Many see them as symbols of divine light, insight or inspiration.

On a spiritual level, rutilated quartz acts as a kind of energy conductor. The stone promotes your intuitive growth, strengthens your connection with your spirit guides or higher self, and helps you gain insights into past lives and how they still influence you today. It, as it were, thins the veil between worlds, making it easier for you to access profound wisdom.

Rutilated quartz can also be very beneficial during meditation or energy work: it brings clarity, breaks through blockages and allows energy to flow more freely through your body.
