In ancient times, some people believed that a quartz crystal was made of water that had frozen so solidly that it could no longer thaw.

Rock crystal grows in a hexagonal crystalline structure. There is an enormous variety of formations. Below are some of the forms that rock crystal can take.
Rock Crystal Laser Wand
Laser rods are usually long, tapered crystals with a thin tip. A laser can focus the energy of the rock crystal into a concentrated beam.
Rock Crystal Generator
A Bergkristal generator consists of six equal sides that meet perfectly at the top. This shape is quite rare. Generators act as ‘batteries’ for earth energy. You can direct the energy towards yourself and thus replenish your energy reserves.
Tabular
A rock crystal tabular is called a ‘tabular’ because the crystal is flat and broad, like a tablet. The crystals act as a bridge for light, allowing energy to flow through them. Normally, this flow is blocked by blockages or fractures in the vibrational field.
Double-pointers
Double-terminated crystals have two pointed terminations. Due to their double-helix growth pattern, energy can flow through the main body of the stone in both directions. A double-terminated crystal can receive and transmit energy via both terminations.
Self-healing Rock Crystal
Self-healing crystals have a complete termination at one end, whilst they have an unbroken but incomplete termination at the other end. Self-healing crystals can help you come to terms with difficult experiences and traumas from the past, and show you how those experiences have contributed to your growth.
Isis crystal
The Isis crystal has a five-sided face at the front of the termination, with each side representing one of the five elements: earth, fire, water, wind and storm. The sacred pentagon, formed by these five sides, connects you to the Divine Source. This connection is primarily with the nurturing and creative energy of the Goddess or Great Mother.
