Agate and Amethyst Obelisks

Wow! What a beauty the Agate and Amethyst Obelisks! We fell in love with these beautiful obelisks the moment we saw them. A real eye-catcher for the home!

But as well as the crystals looking stunning in your home, their properties are fascinating too! As it’s a combination of two stones, I’ll tell you a bit more about the properties of both.

Agate

Agate is a collective term for all manner of chalcedony varieties featuring bands of colour. The name ‘agate’ comes from the River Achetes in Sicily, where the stones were first discovered. These are stones with a low frequency, lower than that of some other stones. However, this is not a flaw in the stone; on the contrary, it is precisely what gives it a stabilising and grounding effect.

There are many different types of agate; I shall describe the more general characteristics of agate, as several varieties are also found in these beautiful obelisks. If you take a close look at your obelisk, you should be able to distinguish the different types of agate. It might then be interesting to read up on the relevant agate on our website. Click on the relevant agate for a direct link: Tree agate, White Agate, Fire Agate, Botswana Agate, Blue Lace Agate, Apricot Agate, Crazy Lace Agate, Moss agate.

General effects of agate

As mentioned above, it is a grounding stone due to its low vibration. The stone also has a protective effect and makes you feel safe. It brings emotional calm and balance, allowing you to reconnect with yourself.

Agate helps boost your self-confidence and enhances your concentration. This enables you to find practical solutions to the challenges you face in life. It encourages personal growth and development, and makes it easier to achieve the goals you set to work on yourself. Also, as you learn to accept yourself as you are, you’ll gain greater self-confidence.

Agate is also a purifying and spiritual stone. All types of agate have a spiritual effect in their own way. For example, Blue Lace Agate promotes communication with guides and beings of light, whilst Moss Agate and Tree Agate open your eyes to the Divine Blueprint of your Higher Self. Fire agate unlocks your creativity so that divine inspiration can flow freely.

Amethyst

Amethyst is an incredibly spiritual stone. It is known for its spiritual protection and purification. The colour of amethyst represents the Violet Flame of Lord St Germain. This flame symbolises the energetic purification of karmic burdens or illnesses and protects against energetic attacks. It is therefore a wonderful stone to place in a room where you wish to keep the energy pure.

Amethyst is a wonderful stone to use during meditation. It helps you enter a meditative state more easily and makes it easier to connect with your spirit guides and angels. The stone supports your spiritual and intuitive abilities by stimulating your third eye and crown chakras. The violet light of the amethyst keeps you protected and allows information to come through clearly.

This stone helps you if you feel you do not belong on this earth and long for a home in other worlds or dimensions. Amethyst helps you to remember that you are one with the cosmos and all that is.
