Agate is a versatile variety of quartz found all over the world. The most beautiful and colourful specimens come from Brazil, Uruguay, India and the United States. The stone forms within volcanic rock, where layers of quartz slowly accumulate in cavities and geodes, creating its characteristic stripes and patterns. This gives each agate its own unique colour and pattern.

The name ‘Agate’ comes from the River Achates in Sicily, where this stone was discovered in ancient times.

General operation

It helps you to stay grounded and reduces the impact of stress and overstimulation.
