  • Make sure you are calm and relaxed before using the biotensor. A clear mind improves accuracy.
  • Hold the handle as instructed by the manufacturer – usually between your thumb and fingers – so that the swinging motion can take place freely
  • Formulate your question clearly and simply. Avoid ambiguous or emotionally charged questions
  • Use “yes” and “no” signals. Decide in advance which direction the pendulum will indicate ‘yes’ and ‘no’. For example, a clockwise circle = yes, an anti-clockwise circle = no
  • Work with neutral energy: Relax your hands and allow the biotensor to move freely. Do not force any answers; let the pendulum react naturally
