Orthoceras is a unique fossil found mainly in Morocco, India and parts of Europe. The name Orthoceras Literally means “straight horn” and refers to the characteristic shape of the shell of this extinct cephalopod. The fossil is around 400 million years old and therefore carries a deep, ancient energy within it. Orthoceras is often polished into a decorative stone or incorporated into decorative objects and gemstone pendants.

General operation

Orthoceras radiates a powerful, grounding energy. It helps you keep your feet firmly on the ground, especially during stressful or chaotic times. Due to this fossil’s origins dating back millions of years, it connects you to ancient knowledge and wisdom, including lessons from past lives. In this way, the stone supports you in making choices based on insight and experience.

This stone reminds you that personal growth takes time and that everything is part of a greater whole. Its powerful, vital energy stimulates your life force and helps you find balance between body, mind and emotions.

The spiral structure of some Orthoceras fossils symbolises growth, transformation and evolution. This makes it an ideal stone to support you through times of change and in letting go of old patterns or blockages.

Orthoceras also helps you to experience inner peace and stability. It combines grounding energy with spiritual depth, making it a powerful aid to meditation, personal development and physical healing.
