What you can do with essential oils, which oils you can use for various ailments, and the best ways to use different essential oils.
It is important to be fully aware that essential oils can be harmful if used incorrectly. This is particularly true for very young children and people with conditions such as epilepsy, high blood pressure and allergic reactions. Pregnant women and older people should also be treated with due care. This workshop is for anyone who wishes to work with essential oils in a thorough manner and use them safely and mindfully – whether for your family, your friends or in a professional capacity.
The workshops we run at our beautiful venue in Heiloo aren’t accessible to everyone. That’s why we’ve worked hard to adapt this workshop into a home-based course. Through a comprehensive course book, you’ll learn about the various terms used in Aromaland. You’ll also learn about their various uses and contraindications. You’ll find plenty of tips and tricks, recipes and practical exercises – so it’s a real hands-on workshop. I hope this will inspire you.
Make the most of the healing power of essential oils!
This workshop box contains all the ingredients you need to do the exercises set out in the workshop booklet.
The box contains:
Lots of questions are asked during the 'live' workshops. You can now do this via a dedicated email address. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have here, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. What’s more, the workshop booklet is packed with information and tips, explanations and in-depth details on the 25 most commonly used essential oils. The workshop booklet is a reference guide to keep, so you can always look up the information again. I hope you enjoy reading the booklet, doing the exercises and the meditation, and I hope I can inspire you to make essential oils a part of your life.
Warm regards, Marianne Leeuwrik
P.S. To complement the introductory workshop, a new workshop on scent frequencies has now been developed. Find out more here via this link. You can also purchase the home workshop together with the wonderful Aroma-Power handbook; you’ll then receive an extra 20% discount on Marianne’s book.
This is such a brilliant at-home workshop. All the materials are sent neatly in a box, which includes a comprehensive booklet with background information and, of course, instructions for making your own lip balm, room spray, foot bath and roll-on.
Delivered quickly. An interesting and well-organised reference book, and it’s great fun to get stuck in and make a lip balm. Enjoyable, informative and interactive.
A really lovely starter pack; the booklet is essential for anyone who wants to delve deeper into aromatherapy! Fantastic explanations, topics, DIY ideas, descriptions of the oils and instructions on how to make your own healing oil using fresh herbs. I run a beauty and energy therapy salon, and the booklet – along with me, and certainly the oils – have been inseparable for the past two weeks. I’ve already made several lip balms for my daughter, a headache oil roll-on for my mum and a lovely women’s perfume for my eldest daughter🌺 I’ve also made my own calendula macerate, which still needs to sit on the windowsill for another week. I can now offer my clients a bespoke, homemade product, and that feels fantastic! Definitely one of the loveliest things I’ve discovered in my life😊
A really interesting workshop on how to use essential oils. Everything was explained very clearly. There were a number of interesting exercises. It was also nice that you were given the products to work with. I’m very satisfied.
A lovely kit for getting to know the oils. Clear explanations. The introductory booklet is well-organised and contains a lot of information that’s very important if you’re going to use essential oils. The exercises are really well thought out, so you can get started straight away.
A truly wonderful workshop, both literally and figuratively. A passion has been born 🥰🌱🌿
A really lovely, well-organised and clearly structured workshop that makes you want to carry on with it!!
When I received the parcel, some items were missing. After getting in touch, I was sent a brand-new (complete) parcel. Perfect service. It’s a good kit with lovely, clear descriptions. The combination with the videos on the PC works really well too. The essential oil bottles are a bit tricky to open, but practice makes perfect. A lovely workshop. Well worth it!
It arrived the very next day. Neatly packaged and smelling lovely! The booklet is really nice and contains lots of useful information. The activities are great fun to do; I’ve only just started, so I’m going to read on quickly to get on with them!
Everything arrived neatly packaged. Opening the box makes you curious about the exercises and the course booklet. The first exercise is already great fun to do, and the rest are even more enjoyable. As well as the exercises, there are also tips, and the course encourages you to explore further on your own. I’m halfway through now, but I’ve already tried out a few things. I’d definitely recommend this as a great way to get to know essential oils.
A really lovely kit. You can do loads with it and everything is explained clearly. You’ve got plenty left over to make other things with, plus a lovely reference booklet. It really makes you curious to find out what else is possible in terms of scent combinations, effects and so on. I’m going to pop into the shop as soon as possible to discover, alongside the 10 oils, what else suits me best.
I received the course, which was neatly packaged. I got started on it last week; I really enjoyed doing the little assignments, and you end up with a lovely result ; ) I’m now keen to get properly involved with this in the future!
What a lovely way to take a course at home – a good mix of information, both in print and via email and videos. Clear explanations and everything you need for an introduction to aromatherapy. I haven’t quite finished the course yet, but it’s left me wanting more!
I’ve received this week’s online workshop pack and it looks really good and well put together. I’ve started on the first part and it was really great fun to do it with a friend. It was surprising, too. The little tubes of oil are a bit tricky to open – which makes sense, otherwise they’d leak. I’ve found it’s easier to hold a piece of fabric between your fingers and the tube, otherwise your fingers really do start to hurt when you’re opening all those little tubes. I haven’t got any further than the first task yet, but it really makes you want to carry on. The products look lovely, and all the bits and pieces that come with them – which you’ll be using later on in the workshop – look absolutely brilliant too. Well done!
Roughly how much time does it take to complete the workshop, in terms of reading, practical work and other activities? I’m also curious to know to what extent the information is provided online or offline (e.g. 10% online and 90% offline)? I’d love to hear/read about it. Thanks!
