Shungite tumbled stone

Shungite is a mysterious, jet-black stone from Karelia in Russia. For centuries, people have praised it for its powerful purifying and protective properties. What makes shungite so special is its unique molecular structure. The stone contains fullerenes: rare carbon structures that scientists are studying because of their special properties.

The name ‘Shungite’ comes from the Russian village of Shunga. This village is situated in the Karelia region, in north-western Russia, close to the border with Finland. It was in this region that the stone was first discovered and mining began. To this day, this remains the only known natural deposit of shungite with this unique composition.

Karelia is renowned for its ancient geological formations. Shungite itself is more than two billion years old. It was formed from organic material which, under high pressure and temperature, transformed into this rare, carbon-rich stone.

Shungite is best known for its protective properties against electromagnetic radiation (EMF). This includes radiation from computers, Wi-Fi routers, mobile phones and televisions.

It is therefore a good idea to place a shungite tumbled stone near electronic devices. It can also provide valuable support in places where you spend a lot of time, such as your workplace or bedroom. In this way, you help to energetically purify your surroundings of electromagnetic pollution, creating a calmer, more harmonious energy field.

Shungite tumbled stones offer more than just physical protection. They also have a deeply purifying effect on an energetic and spiritual level. The stone helps the body and mind to let go of negative energies, thoughts and emotions and to regain their balance.

This stone is particularly suitable for people who absorb a lot of energy from their surroundings and become easily overwhelmed. Shungite also offers support when you need energetic protection. It has a grounding and stabilising effect and helps you to keep both feet firmly on the ground, even when the world around you feels unsettled.
