Malachite necklace, 4 mm

Chakra: heart chakra
Zodiac sign: Scorpio and Taurus

Malachite is mainly found in countries such as the Congo, Russia and Australia. The stone stands out for its deep green colour, with beautiful, undulating lines and patterns. The name “malachite” is derived from the Greek word malakos, meaning “soft”, as the stone is relatively soft and easy to work with.

General operation

Malachite is a powerful, intense stone full of energy. It supports you when you are emotionally out of balance and helps you to feel stable and grounded again. The stone protects you from negative energies and creates a sense of safety and security, making it ideal to carry with you whilst travelling or in situations where you want to feel extra secure.

On a spiritual level, Malachite helps you to break through stubborn blockages that hinder your personal growth. It supports you in letting go of fear, inhibitions and other limiting feelings, and encourages you to take an honest look at yourself and break free from old patterns. As a result, it provides the perfect support for transformation, self-development and personal growth.

Please note: in some people, malachite may cause mild palpitations or a feeling of restlessness. In that case, it is better to opt for gentler stones such as rhodonite or rose quartz.

Malachite is a powerful companion for anyone who dares to grow, to heal and to take new steps in life with confidence.

Care

Malachite can be cleansed and recharged in all sorts of ways, but it is best not to expose it to too much water. Read here more information on cleaning and charging.
