The "sacred wood" has long been known for its purifying properties and is still used today in shamanic rituals. Palo Santo is a type of wood that comes from the rainforests of South America and is used to support sacred rituals. The wood is then set alight, producing smouldering smoke.
These sticks are readily available these days, but not everyone appreciates them. If you still want to make use of the cleansing properties of "holy wood" but don’t want to end up with a house full of smoke, you can use the Palo Santo spray from De Groene Linde.

I used to always use sacred wood that I had to light, but the smoke in my practice didn’t really make me happy. Suddenly I spotted this spray and ordered it straight away. It’s absolutely lovely! Just one spray is enough to cleanse my practice. Thank you so much! José | Grief and life mentor for women
I use palo santo as an aura spray to keep negative influences at bay. Because of its strong scent, just one spray is enough. People around me can barely smell it.
It’s far too strong; I have to give it credit for one thing though – heavy energy does clear quickly. I don’t think I’ll be buying this again with my next order. It’s not my sort of scent, nor is the experience. It’s not bad, mind you! Personally, I now much prefer Clean Energy or Sage – they suit me much better when it comes to clearing away other people’s energy. I’ve also come to really prefer the Mother Earth spray – it smells so lovely and reassuring, and it’s immediately earthy and grounding. So, Clean Energy spray, Sage spray and Mother Earth spray are my favourites. Palo Santo isn’t bad at all, mind you, but it really is a matter of spraying less and using it less often, and the scent and experience are very personal. I’ll keep the spray, of course, but I don’t think I’ll use it again because I find the scent a bit too strong, haha.
The scent of this one is really strong, but I actually quite like it. It works well.
I use Palo Santo when cleansing homes, myself and my clients. It combines perfectly with sage spray when cleansing a home
The scent is strong but smells lovely; it’s a deep-cleansing spray. I really enjoy using it to purify spaces, as well as my own energy when it feels a bit heavy after interacting with others. I’d highly recommend keeping this spray in the house.
