How scent frequencies are created

Some scent frequencies are created by blending different essential oils. We then leave the mixture to stand for a while, so that the oils can work in synergy and blend properly. Sometimes a scent frequency even smells quite different immediately after mixing. The oils really do need a little time to settle together in peace and quiet before they eventually produce the scent you’re used to from that frequency.

However, there are also scent frequencies that carry more than just the energy of the various oils. Some frequencies are, in fact, charged with the power of stones and even with tubes containing light frequencies or essential oils, in order to boost the energy even further.

A touch of science

A tube containing light frequencies or an oil with a scent frequency – how does that actually work? Let me take you through a bit of science 😉

Essential oils are complex mixtures of volatile aromatic molecules derived from plants. Each oil has a specific molecular composition. This composition can be measured in terms of vibrational frequency, expressed in MHz: this refers to the electromagnetic activity of the molecules.

Science does not generally use the term ‘frequency of an oil’, but it is true that the molecules in an oil are constantly in motion. This vibration influences their interaction with cells, air molecules and even how we perceive scent. Furthermore, fragrances have a direct impact on our emotions, as they reach the brain via the limbic system and send a signal to our nervous system.

The energy aspect of the story

In aromatherapy, energy work and also here at De Groene Linde, we talk about the energetic frequency of an essential oil. Every plant species has its own energetic signature: a vibration or resonance that affects the energy field of a person and their environment.

The energy of the essential oil remains subtly present, even when the oil is contained in a glass bottle. When we place the oil in a clear glass tube, the energy is transmitted and you can make use of the oil’s vibrational frequency. You can also feel the frequency when you hold a bottle, place it beside you or meditate with it. Many therapists and energy practitioners experience this directly: for example, they notice a change in energy or mood when holding a particular oil, even if the bottle remains sealed.

The same principle actually applies to stones as it does to oils. By combining the scientific and energetic aspects, you might gain a better understanding of why we harness the power of essential oils in this way.

The charging process

When we create blends that harness the power of stones or scent frequencies, we always allow the blend time to charge. As you may know, our Light frequencies Here’s a good example of that. These are charged exclusively with stones and tubes of different scent frequencies. This results in a product that you can ingest, as the mixture contains no essential oils. The Light Frequencies are given 30 days to charge as standard, before being decanted into the bottles for sale.

Our bestseller too Bedtime Smudge is such a lovely example of a scent frequency that we infuse with an extra burst of energy. We created Bedtime Smudge to be used before going to sleep. This scent frequency ensures that you are cleansed, grounded and protected for the night, when you are often open to the energy around you.

We use various stones in the stock bottle, including Fluorite, Spectroliet and Black Tourmaline. All these stones contribute to the intention behind this theme. But it is not just stones that fill the stock bottle; it also contains vials containing light frequencies that support the three themes.

Once we’ve created the blend of the various oils, the stock bottle goes back into the cupboard for a little while, so that the stones and glass tubes can do their job. Please note that when the oil is decanted into the bottles for sale, the stones and tubes remain in the stock bottle. They are therefore not included in the bottle you receive at home.

The result: not only a delightful scent from the essential oils, but also a profound energetic effect from the oils, the stones and the tubes.
