Bring strength, stability and deep tranquillity to your space with Atlas cedar essential oil. This oil is extracted from the wood of the Cedrus atlantica, the majestic Atlas cedar that grows in the high mountains of Morocco. Its warm, woody and slightly balsamic aroma instantly fills your surroundings with a sense of security and grounding.
The Atlas cedar grows on rugged mountain slopes, where it develops its characteristic, powerful scent. By diffusing or dispersing the oil, you can refresh and stabilise your space whilst creating a calm, serene atmosphere. The aroma of Atlas cedar supports you during moments of reflection, meditation and inner peace, and invites you to connect with your own strength and balance.
Steam distillation of the wood brings out its rich, grounding scent, which instils a sense of warmth, stability and focus. With Atlas cedar essential oil, you can create an energising environment that helps you let go of stress, clear your mind and refocus.
The Cedar type feels stifled by his parents’ love and, as a result, feels he has to live up to their expectations. This makes him tend to always take others into account and gives rise to a fear that he will not be able to meet those expectations.
The Atlas cedar is known for its strength and peaceful presence. The Atlas cedar helps you to ground yourself and find balance. It keeps you firmly rooted, making it easier to accept life as it is. The Atlas cedar offers protection to those who are sensitive to the ‘harshness’ of everyday life. It helps to stabilise and calm your mind.
For example, during busy times within a family, Atlas cedar will have a soothing and purifying effect and restore harmony to the atmosphere. Its pleasant scent attracts love and a sense of togetherness, which encourages consideration and understanding of one another’s thoughts and wishes. As a result, the oil helps to restore balance in stressful situations.
Add Atlas cedar to a blend designed to purify your space. Like sage, Atlas cedar is burnt during ceremonial smudging sessions. It supports you during meditation or prayer and deepens your spiritual practices and rituals. You can use it with an intention to reinforce the ‘Law of Attraction’.
Affirmation: ""All the answers lie deep within me. It’s easy to tap into my inner wisdom."
Atlas cedar can be used to help you breathe more freely and supports the respiratory tract. The oil helps to maintain healthy airways. Atlas cedar oil contributes to normal muscle function and helps maintain supple joints and healthy cartilage. When making your own cream, this oil helps to keep the skin healthy. In hair care products, the oil is effective in maintaining a healthy scalp, as well as keeping nails healthy.

The smell is mild
As the meaning and effects of Atlas cedar really resonated with me, I decided to try the oil in a diffuser. Not only does it create a sense of relaxation – like a warm, cosy blanket – but the scent is also lovely and lingers beautifully. It’s not a heavy scent; on the contrary, it’s very subtle, which makes it all the more intense. All in all, it’s an oil that I now use every day and which I would definitely recommend.
