Konijntje Zacht base oil

Konijntje Zacht is a pure, naturally pure sesame oil that can be used as a gentle base oil for baby care and for making your own blends. This base oil is suitable for babies from birth and fits in perfectly with a mindful, natural skincare routine.

In Ayurveda, sesame oil is known as a warm, nourishing oil with cleansing properties. The oil feels soft on the skin and is often used as a base for massage or as a carrier oil to dilute essential oils. Thanks to its gentle formula, Konijntje Zacht is ideal for sensitive baby skin.

You can use this sesame oil as a massage oil or as a base for a baby’s bath. Would you like to add the oil to the bath water? If so, use Himalayan salt as a natural emulsifier, so that the oil disperses more easily in the water. This creates a gentle, soothing bath time for your little one.

Konijntje Zacht has also been developed as a base oil for the Baby, Toddler & Preschooler range. You can add a fragrance, provided it is age-appropriate. Always take great care to use the correct dosage. For babies up to six months old, we advise against adding any essential oil. Even after that, the rule remains: less is more. For babies, a single drop of essential oil is often enough – or even too much. You can find the correct ratio and safe dosage in the table under the ‘Dosage & Use’ tab. This ensures you use essential oils gently and responsibly.
