Rutile quartz is, in fact, rock crystal with inclusions of rutile, a mineral that is usually gold-coloured, but can also be silver, copper-red or black. The combination of that clear base with those sparkling needles makes rutile quartz a truly magical sight. This stone is found in Brazil, Madagascar, India, Australia and the USA, amongst other places.
