Chakra: heart and crown chakras
Star sign: fishing

Pink Amethyst is a rare variety of the classic purple Amethyst and is mainly found in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. The pink colour is caused by a combination of iron and natural radiation within the crystal, and ranges from soft pastel pink to deep pink-lilac shades. Just like ordinary amethyst, pink amethyst grows slowly in geodes and cavities within volcanic rock. Pink amethyst is named for its soft, pink colour and its connection to the energy of classic amethyst.

General operation

Pink Amethyst is a recently discovered stone from Argentina. I really think this is a stone for people who need a touch of gentleness in their lives. Its gentle and loving energy helps you to calm down and find peace. Pink amethyst radiates a calming and loving energy that helps to heal emotional wounds. It opens the heart and fosters self-love, compassion and harmony in relationships. It offers comfort and support when life gets you down. Think of it as your dearest and best friend.

If you’ve lost touch with your heart, Pink Amethyst is a lovely stone to help you open your heart in a gentle and calm way. You don’t need to worry about emotions washing over you like an overwhelming wave. Pink amethyst is lovely to use for meditation and to strengthen your intuition.

Just like the purple amethyst, the pink variety has protective properties. It helps ward off negative energies and creates a safe, pure energy within your aura and living space.
Whilst purple amethyst can sometimes bring about intense spiritual transformations, pink amethyst works in a more subtle way. It helps you to integrate spiritual insights into your life in a calm and loving manner. It gently connects you with higher energies and spiritual guidance. Pink amethyst helps you to strengthen your intuition and gain clarity in difficult situations, without becoming overwhelmed by emotions.

Care

It is best not to clean the Pink Amethyst with water, and it may discolour when exposed to sunlight. Read here more information on cleaning and charging.
