This makes it easier for you to choose a fragrance that suits what is going on in your life right now.

What is the difference between a scent frequency and an essential oil?

An essential oil is a natural oil derived from plants. A ‘De Groene Linde’ fragrance blend is a unique composition in which Marianne has combined essential oils around a specific theme. This means you choose not only based on the scent, but also on the intention and experience behind the blend.

How do I choose from the many fragrance ranges?

Don’t start by asking which scent smells best, but by asking which theme needs your attention right now. For example, are you looking for more peace of mind, confidence, protection, relaxation, focus or a warm, homely feeling? Then choose the fragrance range that matches that. You’ll often find that you’re intuitively drawn to a particular range.

Why are many fragrance varieties available as sprays, roll-ons and oils?

Every application has its own advantages.

A room spray is easy to use at home, in the office or when you’re taking some time for yourself. A roll-on is easy to take with you when you’re out and about, and you can apply it directly to the skin. You can use the oil in a diffuser, an aroma burner or as part of a personal ritual.

This means you can use the same fragrance in the way that suits you best.

Do I have to like a fragrance straight away?

Not always. Sometimes a scent appeals to you straight away. Sometimes, however, a scent provokes a negative reaction or takes you by surprise. In her podcasts, Marianne explains that it is precisely that reaction that can reveal something about an issue that needs addressing. That is why we recommend choosing not just with your nose, but also with your gut feeling.

Can I combine several fragrance ranges?

Yes. Many customers use different fragrance ranges at the same time. For example, during the day you can choose a range that helps with focus or balance, whilst in the evening you can use a different fragrance range to help you relax or create a cosy atmosphere at home.
