An essential oil made from crystals; a crystal-frequency fragrance rangeβ¦ Thatβs impossible, isnβt it! No, thatβs right! But you can create an oil blend with the same frequency as a crystal. And this is precisely what this wonderful range offers: the frequency of healing crystals.
At De Groene Linde, everything revolves around frequency and vibration. Everything around us is vibration; we, too, have an energetic vibration. Every energetic vibration that we, as human beings, emit also has an effect on everything around us. When youβre not feeling yourself, when youβre feeling down, you have a low frequency around you. When youβre cheerful, happy and in good spirits, you have a higher frequency around you. Frequency is measured in Hertz.
Crystals are also known to emit a certain frequency. So you can make good use of this by carrying a crystal with you. This is because a high frequency always βoverpowersβ a lower frequency.
But perhaps youβre not into crystals and donβt like carrying them around with you β in which case, this fragrance range is the perfect solution! Even if you do carry crystals with you, you can still make use of the support offered by the fragrances. Itβs precisely the combination of the two that works incredibly well!
The fragrance range
There are truly countless crystals, which is why Marianne has chosen to include eight different crystal frequencies in this fragrance range: the Crystal Frequency fragrance range. These eight have a variety of themes, so there is sure to be a theme to suit everyone. All themes are available as an oil and a spray.
How did this fragrance range come about?
Marianne says:
βThis is actually quite a lovely and funny story. Iβd come across a deck of crystal cards and had taken them with me on a holiday to Bali. Whilst I was on the beach in Bali, I started reading the cards and thought it would be nice to turn them into a fragrance range! I did have some doubts at first, because I thought: why would you want a fragrance based on a crystalβs frequency when you already have the crystal itself! But in the end I went ahead with it; at a certain point, it just feels like it has to happen. I chose a number of cards from the deck; there were more than are currently on the shelves, so a few had to be left out.
Then, by actually focusing on that card β the one with the text on it β I came up with the scents right there on the beach, on my sun lounger π. Without actually smelling the scents or trying to make a blend, I wrote the recipe down in my notebook. The memory of the scents that I still have stored away makes this possible. When I got home, I started mixing and blending, and although I did make a few adjustments, the basis was already there. This was a very special experience for me too!
Thatβs what Iβm capable of and how I work. I tune into a theme or, in this case, a crystal, and then I can already feel and smell it; thatβs exactly how it should smell! A friend of mine who works a lot with crystals asked me how I manage to do this. The amber smells exactly as amber should! People pick up on this and can sense that itβs right.
Next is the Crystal Frequency Fragrance Range We added it to our range, and it did take a while before it really caught on. Ultimately, it has become a lovely and much-loved range. I did want to create more scents, but to keep things organised β both for ourselves and for our customers β we decided to remove a few crystals; there were simply too many. It is what it is now, and Iβm still very happy with it!β
Many people wonder how you extract oil from a crystal
βIt really is the frequency of the crystal that corresponds to the frequency of the oil. Thatβs how I created the scents too. I really tuned into the frequency of the crystal. Also, turning inwards at the moment of creation, asking yourself what rock crystal is, for example. For me, that means freshness, clarity, purity, brightness and purification β and thatβs what itβs known for. So it makes sense to look for scents reminiscent of rosemary and eucalyptus. But then you reach a point where you think, βThere needs to be some softness in that scent, because rock crystal also represents softness to me.β So you start looking again for a scent that can soften such a very clear yet harsh scent. Then you find another oil that can handle this, and I just sense that this is the one. The feedback Iβve received about, for example, Rock Crystal β which is my colleague Rebeccaβs favourite β is truly wonderful. She notices its purifying effect and how it brings body, soul and mind into alignment.
Many beauticians also enjoy working with this Crystal Frequency fragrance range. For example, they give wonderful massages using rose quartz. Itβs a lovely range to use during crystal massages β a lovely addition.β β Marianne β
