You want to get started with the Linde Care range at your care facility as soon as possible – of course we understand that! But now you just need to convince your manager or senior management… They usually want to see a work plan from you, which makes sense. After all, ultimately they’ll be the ones funding and implementing this under their own name.

A work plan is a document in which you set out the tasks, objectives, timeline, resources and responsibilities required to successfully carry out a specific project or task. It is a detailed overview that helps with planning, organising and managing the work.
Yes, exactly – of course you don’t really fancy doing that! Still, it can come in very handy! If you’re serious about setting this up, it can help you draw up a solid, workable plan. It’s also good for your colleagues to have an insight into your plan, so you can work together to achieve the goal! And the clearer, the better. It shows that you’ve taken this seriously and helps you gain the trust of your staff.
Unfortunately, I can’t give you a ready-made work plan, although I’d love to. This isn’t possible, as every venue has its own objectives and uses the oils in different ways. You’ll need to give this some careful thought yourself. There are plenty of sample work plans available online for you to explore. But of course, I do have a few tips on what your work plan should definitely include.
🌼 Clearly state which oil and which product you’re going to use, and how – whether in one-to-one sessions with residents or to create a certain atmosphere, for example in a living room
🌼 Draw up a clear breakdown of costs. This can be helpful, as people often think that using essential oils is an expensive business… Please contact us for the current prices for the healthcare sector. We offer a special discount for healthcare organisations.
🌼 Who are the points of contact? Are you the point of contact yourself, or do you share this role with other colleagues? It’s good for everyone to know where the information – and, of course, the products – should come from.
🌼 Who is responsible for stock levels! Where can colleagues order their products? Who ensures that everything remains in stock? Please also make it clear how you would like orders to be placed – via email, etc.
🌼 When is the next meeting to review how things are going, and how will you report on this?
TIP: Don’t start by turning your entire workplace upside down. Start small, keep things simple – especially for yourself.
TIP: Nobody can do everything on their own. That’s why here’s a tip: look for a colleague who’s just as positive as you are about this topic. Together, you’ll achieve more and be able to help more colleagues use the oils. Make sure to include this in your work plan too – it’s always good to show that you need to do it ‘together’!
If you have any questions about the best way to use a particular oil from the Linde Care range can be set up at your premises, we’d be more than happy to help you get started! Please email your enquiry to zorg@degroenelinde.nl
