Sometimes you have those moments in life when words fail you. You experience something, but your mind can’t quite grasp exactly what’s happening. A dream seems like more than just a dream; it feels like a sudden realisation or a moment you’ve experienced before. Life is one big mystery, and at moments like these, it reveals a little of that to you.
Mystery is not something that needs to be solved. It is not a puzzle like the ones in films. The mystery of life is the space that remains open when you do not try to understand everything, but allow life to be greater than yourself. A moment of silence in which the grandeur of life overwhelms you. The realisation that you are but a tiny part of the greater whole. The inner knowing that you are part of a sacred whole.
Let nature’s little miracles support you…
What is the best way to foster that sense of connection and mysticism? In my view, by making use of nature’s little wonders.
🌱 Go for a walk in the countryside and just be still for a while. Take a moment to look at the little wonders you come across. A ray of sunshine filtering through the foliage, a bee visiting a beautiful flower, or a tree coming into bloom… These are moments of tranquillity and wonder. The feeling of being at one with nature gives you more than you realise.
🌱 Nature meditation: Find a lovely spot whilst out for a walk and sit down quietly for a moment. Listen to the sounds that nature offers you – everything you hear – and take it all in. This will help you relax and find inner peace. You can then turn your attention completely inwards to discover the magic that lies within us all.
🌱 To me, essential oils really are little miracles of nature. A gift from Mother Earth, given with the best of intentions. I do have a few tips for you, though…
𝙴𝚎𝚗𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚛𝚗
This is such a special scent frequency! I find this a lovely scent for children (aged 8 and over) who struggle to connect with life. Who feel alone here on Earth and can no longer properly sense their connection with the cosmic realm because of all the noise. They see life as a heavy burden… The Unicorn is a pure being who ensures that more light comes to Earth. And the children, too, can start to feel that light again and show it to the world. Reason currently dominates too much; we need to allow ourselves to feel more again, and make greater use of the intuition and love that connects us all.
𝚆𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚎 𝙳𝚛𝚊𝚊𝚔
This fragrance is definitely my favourite! I find that this lovely scent helps me to truly connect with myself and opens up my subconscious. I become aware of the boundlessness of existence. But it also seems to open little doors to information I didn’t even know was there. I therefore often use the scent when I get a bit stuck – with writing, for example – but also when the hustle and bustle of modern society becomes a bit too much for me. I feel the pure energy of the White Dragon and the noise fades away. Back to the connection with the cosmic realms. I’d definitely recommend it 😊
𝙿𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚌𝚑 𝙱𝚎𝚠𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚣𝚒𝚓𝚗
This is a very old fragrance and, in fact, my first introduction to De Groene Linde. Someone gave me this fragrance to help me reconnect with the source. To rediscover my own inner source and start living from that place. It’s really been a ‘life-changer’ for me! I was able to let more love and harmony back into my life and I felt more connected to everything around me again. I still reach for this fragrance every now and then. Not just because I love the way it smells, but also because it gives me a sort of ‘coming home’ feeling. Coming home to myself and opening myself up again to my inner source.
You really don’t have to sit in silence like a monk on a mountain to experience the magic of life. When you pause for a moment and allow yourself to be filled with wonder at your surroundings, you’ll already experience it. You’ll realise that you are at one with something greater than yourself. You feel small and grateful that you’re allowed to live this life. That you’re allowed to enjoy it, savour life and experience what life has in store for you. And in that feeling of gratitude lies the magic… You feel it in your body, a sense of intense happiness and joy. I feel a sort of little whirlwind racing through my heart.
Intense happiness…
I can easily conjure up this feeling when I Ocean Jasper that I carry with me. My eldest son gave me a jasper when we were on a lovely trip through Portugal in a campervan. It was a truly special time, travelling through Portugal with the family in a campervan that was far too small. In a charming little village, we popped into one of those typical little stone shops you see in many of those places. My son was 10 at the time and came up to me with this stone. He said: ‘I want to give you this stone because I’m enjoying the holiday so much.’ I took the stone and my heart opened up; I felt as though I could never be happier than I was at that very moment… Pure magic! Now, almost 8 years later, this stone still sits on my bedside table.
