Ardèche lavandin is a hybrid of true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and spike lavender (Lavandula latifolia), and combines the best of both worlds: the soft, floral scent of true lavender with the fresh, herbaceous undertone of camphor.
This Lavandin is grown in the sunny, rugged hills of the Ardèche – a region in the south of France renowned for its beautiful lavender fields and artisanal distillers. Thanks to the warm climate and mineral-rich soil, this Lavendin develops a strong aroma and powerful effects.
The oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops and contains higher levels of camphor and cineole, which give it a more stimulating effect than true lavender. If you find true lavender too overpowering, Lavandin is a good alternative. Lavandin has the same properties as true lavender.

To help you sleep, make a base oil, for example, 100 ml of grape seed oil containing 50 drops of lavandin. Rub it into your skin and then hop into a warm shower. Sleep well!
Lavandin oil works synergistically, which means that if you add a drop of lavender to a blend of different essential oils, their effects are enhanced.
