Tip

Prepare a foot bath with 10 drops of benzoin and a splash of Castor oil and a scoop Epsom salt and soak your feet in this for a week. This helps to heal cracked skin on the heels and softens rough skin on the feet. Add benzoin to your homemade foot cream.

Mixes well with

As benzoin is a viscous oil, it can often be a bit tricky to mix. The oil often sticks to the bottom of the bottle. However, it still releases its scent and has the same effect. Mix the oil with Bergamot, Patchouli and all citrus fruits for a lovely scent.

Contraindication

Do not use during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding. When applying the oil to the skin, use a smaller amount as benzoin is highly concentrated.
