It’s so important to have self-confidence and feel empowered. This allows you to live life to the full and stand ready, with open arms, to receive everything life has to offer. But sometimes you could do with a bit of extra support, and sometimes there are things that simply make you feel insecure. A rejection, a nerve-wracking event, and so on. We have some lovely products in our range to support you during those moments. You’ll also find some great tips on how to boost your self-confidence and strength in this blog.
Some people are born with self-confidence, but many others aren’t… The older you get, the harder it can sometimes be to build that self-confidence. Especially if you didn’t always receive the same level of confidence from your family. This may have stemmed from events in your childhood, such as being bullied a lot, or perhaps being brought up by two insecure parents. It all seeps in, and now you’re left with the feeling that you’re not good enough… Let me tell you one thing: YOU ARE ENOUGH AND YOU ARE WORTH IT!! But of course, someone can keep telling you that… You actually have to feel it too!
There are various tips to help you work on building your self-confidence. And the sooner you start, the better! So if you have children who lack confidence, do these exercises together so that you can all become stronger and more self-assured.
⇢ Don’t be too hard on yourself. Everyone makes mistakes, and it’s precisely from making mistakes that you learn what you can do differently next time. Show yourself some compassion so that you can accept your ‘mistakes’ with an open heart and continue to be honest with yourself about the fact that you, too, are only human.
⇢ Be mindful of your thoughts. This is perhaps the hardest tip to put into practice. If you’re mindful of your thoughts, you’ll probably realise that they’re often negative thoughts about yourself. And your thoughts have a huge impact on your behaviour! If you’re always thinking negatively about yourself, you won’t achieve the self-confidence you’d like to have. Get up every morning and tell yourself in the mirror that you’re worth it, that you’re good enough, and that you are light and love. Really look at yourself and be kind to yourself. Alternatively, write these words on your mirror with an eyeliner pencil so that you’re reminded of them every day.

⇢ Why not write down your strengths and achievements? What are you good at, and what have you achieved? These can be big things, but don’t forget the little successes either. This way, you’ll anchor positive thoughts in your mind, and you can always look back on them when you need a bit of extra confidence.
⇢ Let go of your perfectionism… Because this is often the case: people who are deeply insecure tend to be extremely perfectionist and hard on themselves. You’re only human, and not everything is perfect. Take an honest look around you and see through the ‘perfect picture’ that many people paint. Everyone has their own issues and insecurities; it’s just that not everyone shows them.
⇢ And perhaps the best tip of all: don’t compare yourself to others… Everyone is unique, and so are you! And as mentioned above, people often present a picture to the outside world that everything is perfect, but in reality things can be very different. Look at yourself, your own successes; be kind to yourself and be grateful for what you have. Otherwise, keep a gratitude journal so that every morning and evening you can jot down what you’re grateful for. You’ll really notice that you get through the day with a more positive outlook and, ultimately, feel truly grateful for the smallest things. That spontaneous cup of coffee with a friend, the smile from that friendly till operator, and so on. All those lovely moments in your day that you become more aware of simply by writing them down. And this positivity really does rub off on others!
As well as these tips, you can also make use of scent frequencies. It’s particularly good, for example, to use a spray when you’re telling yourself positive things. This reinforces your words, and the scent of the spray will give you that positive feeling at other times when you use it.

Personally, I really love these two! Don’t be put off by the ‘Burn Out’ name of this powerhouse’s fragrance range. The Will Power is for anyone who could do with a bit of extra strength.
